Our Story

 We met for our first date on the 606, a walking path featured in our engagement photos. While our dogs, Annie and Ruxin, were lukewarm about each other, the two humans found we had a lot in common. We walked and talked the entire trail over the course of two hours. Chris wooed Tracey with mini-golf, sushi, and trips to Chicago museums, and Tracey couldn’t help but be smitten. We moved in together right before the pandemic started, and learned that we enjoyed each other’s company enough to make our quarantine experience really smooth and painless. In March of 2021, while making homemade pasta, Chris asked Tracey to marry him, and even had a congratulatory video from Captain Lee of Below Deck. We are excited to start our lives together this April, and hope you’ll be able to join us for the big day!
